Here's my story...I'll try to keep it short :). I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in November of 2010. I was excited to sign up, but I'll be honest, I was a bit nervous too. I have been a SU! customer for quite a while, so I am familiar with and love the products. Demonstrating is quite a big step for me. I can be a shy person, but I'm learning to come out of my shell more and more. I am also excited about the prospect of meeting with like-minded ladies and sharing my love of crafting.
I had a kick-off open house in January of 2011 to celebrate being a SU! demonstrator. At the open house, I asked the ladies if they were interested in hosting their own parties, attending occasional classes or joining a regular club. I had several responses to the class and club options. I was so excited! This sounded like just the thing for me! Doing parties is fun and exciting, but I liked the idea of pre-scheduled sessions that are more about creating beautiful things and getting know people, and less about selling products.
This is where "Crafting Gals" comes in. I decided to start this blog to share our monthly crafting adventures. Depending on how busy life is and how ambitious I feel, I may post some of my own projects, sneak peaks of future classes, tutorials, links and I don't even know what else! I appreciate comments and feedback, so please respond to individual posts or send me an email. Thanks!
